Grammy Award winner, RnB crooner Anthony Hamilton is headed to South Africa to celebrate Women’s month.

The song-writer, record producer, actor, will be coming to South Africa for the second time. He is scheduled to perform at Ellis Park Arena (formerly known as Standard Bank Arena) on the 16^th of August, Cape Town ICC on the 17^th of August, East London Buffalo Park on the 18^th of August and will end the tour at Peoples Park in Durban on the 19^th of August.

John Legend coming back to SA

American RnB sensation and Grammy Award winner, John Legend will be coming back to South Africa this year for a One-night only performance.

The nine-time Grammy Award-winning superstar will be perfroming at Sandton Convention Centre on the 10th August 2012. The event was confirmed by Metro FM’s presenter T-bo Touch.

Speaking to the media, Tbo-Touch said:

“We are celebrating the Launch of a foundation with a two-hour performance from the soul singger and his full live band. We are super excited about him coming to SA”

He Tweeted: This John Legend is the 1st of its kind. A live show 23piece band very intimate @ Sandton Convention Centre. Only 1000 tickets at R2000

The Concert will be part of the launch of a foundation set up by the Minister of Sports and Creation, Fikile Mbalula. Children from disadvantaged backgrounds will benefit.

Carl Thomas to perform in SA for Women’s Day

American R&B singer, Carl Thomas will be performing in South Africa for one-night only in August 2012.

The one night only performance which is part of an Inaugural Annual Pre-Women’s Day International Music Concert will take place at the Sun City Superbowl on Saturday, 04 August 2012.

Khabo Mabe, show organizer said, “We look forward to welcoming Mr Thomas to Mzansi as part of the First Annual Pre-Women’s Day Celebration”.

While in South Africa Thomas is also scheduled to visit Community projects in Rustenburg, Soweto and Atteridgeville in Pretoria and he will be part of MetroFM Eddie Zondi’s Soul Sessions at Dibango’s Place in Pretoria on Sunday, 05 August 2012.

Carl Thomas who will be visiting South Africa for the first time is known for hits such as Emotional, I Wish, and Summer Rain. The album Emotional was certified platinum in the U.S.
