Mzansi Loves Soul Music back to Homepage

Mzansi Loves Soul Music is a concept that appreciates the entire spectrum of music genres, as each of them appeals to their own individual markets. However, for the first time A Certain Company and VibeZone Entertainment hosted a fully-fledged intimate shows that combined the Neo-soul (RnB) and Afro-soul genres.

Mzansi Loves Soul Music focuses on both up-coming artists as well as developed artists and their coexistence on one stage. Each artist sings original songs from their albums and cover-versions of their choice. This is also incorporated with collaborations on stage between the performing artists. There is just one band and one set of backing vocalists, and they provide support for all the performing artists.

The performing artists pay homage to all those legendary artists that have been lost to the music industry, both locally and internationally. Furthermore, they celebrate all those artists that still live, that made significant contributions toward paving the way for the young artists.

The line-up included: Theo Kgosenkwe, Afrotraction, Brian Temba, Nomfusi supported by Bo, Leanne, Mlu and Lungi.
